Truism
In sum, when in battle,
Use the orthodox to engage.
Use the extraordinary to attain victory

Lavalife Co-founder
David Chamandy and Ed were the original co-founders of Teleclassified's, the forebearer of Interactive Media Corp., Interactive Media Group and Lavalife Corp. Dave showed his true grit following his heart instead of convention.
Dave was the operational specialist at Lavalife. He managed the legal and corporate expansion. In the case of our Montreal office, more like relocation because of a fire at the old one. He picked a prime location at Cresent and Saint Catherines. Just seconds from the bars and clubs.
He introduced me to Bar-B-Barns. Bar-B-Barns ribs are always at the top of the hit list when anyone goes to Montreal. Nothing but the whole hawg!!!
Conviction and Fortitude
From my personal experience, Dave has always faced adversity head on. He's definitely not one to take things lying down. Through thick and thin, he and Ed stuck together through some pretty tough times and businesses I can't even remember. It's through his true conviction and fortitude that has attributed to his success. Dave, I guess you're no longer living in basement apartments!!!
Back in the Day
I can't remember exactly how we met. Well, it was definitely through Ed when Ed and I were at Rye High. If I had to guess, it would have been at a card game that he hosted at his parents place.
The first foray into starting a business was when four of us started Brainstorm Productions. I wonder if the name has been registered. It's still a great name. Anyway, I can still remember the day we sat in front of a Coles manager selling our Celebrity Answering Machine tapes, Celebrity AnswerAlls. What a high. But nothing matched seeing our goodies in the World's Biggest Bookstore!
New Start
He moved to Montreal with his family during a time when it wasn't politically correct. Years later, his entrepreneural juices started to flow again. He helped start Darwin Dimensions, a company specializing virtual character software.
Dave, I'm doing this under extreme protest! Just joking. There is one thing that you can do for me - will you stop winning those 7/27 pots. If you do, I'd might even show up at your annual May 24 weekend tourney.
BTW, Dave, how do you feel about the Toronto Star misspelling your name?
Most of the photos were taken by Dave at our last get together. It's the North Toronto crew and me! Dave, I've watermarked the photos for you!!!
