It's the People, Stupid!!!

Minh Co

Minh is one of the last of the TRUE IVR programmers at Lavalife. He has worked with all of Dialogic's IVR boards, from the D4x, DMX to the D240SC's. In telecommunication terms these cards represent analogue and digital lines, i.e. ISDN, T1. Actually he also has done extensive work with E1's while in Australia.

He recently added to his list of accomplishments the crashing of a big butted Sun Ultra II server running Solaris 2.5 with enough memory to choke a horse. He did it by running a thousand processes. Why? Because he was trying to simulate a REAL IVR system. Sorry Sun but I guess your stuff doesn't live up to it's billing - OOP's. For those devout Sun worshipers, don't even think about SPAMMING me wanting all of the itty bitty details so that you can recommend Sun's new 9000 series machines. Why ? BECAUSE IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE FINANCIAL SENSE.

Here's a tid bit. There was the belief in starting a "revolution" by creating a "paradigm shift". Sound familar. Well, the all encompassing project was called NOP. The Alum referred to it as NOPE!!! Now guess who was right?

I don't know how he works so much when he has three kids and a wife. But he does. He's been there every step of the way. I know he doesn't receive the credit he is justly due. People probably take him for granted because he's always there.

Minh has found bugs that mere mortal 'C' programmers could only fantasize and live to tell about it. Minh, you the man. Minh is now making huge amounts of cash in Atlanta!!!
