Never mistake knowledge for wisdom. One helps you make a living; the other helps you make a life.

There's a good probability you're viewing this page because you're looking for money. Well read away.

If you want to be constructive, help a Thuggg improve the keywords for my Google AdSense. I'm just trying to pay the bills! I'm also hoping Google Analytics will help me maximize my AdWords revenues. Hey, Google Analytics is FREE.

Disclaimer

  • Use dragonCrew.com at your own risk. If you're expecting an SLA - forget about it. I can't afford the legal representation, let alone the administrative fees! Plus you have to be a PAYING client anyway. Therefore, there are absolutely NO remedies to be had. So go sue someone else.
  • dragonCrew.com is an aggregation of knowledge. Props have been paid where props are due through both links and trackbacks.
  • The views expressed are solely my own. So don't try blaming anyone else. The buck stops here. You should keep in mind that hundreds if not thousands of others also share the views expressed at dragonCrew.com!
  • The download times will be proportionate to the other web sites being hosted on the web server. I can only afford shared hosting. But I am accepting DONATIONS for a standalone server and DB. I've been meaning to update my PayPal account. Oh well, just hold on to your cash for now.
  • The page parsing time is displayed on the browser task bar. If you are using Mozilla (Firefox or Netscape), activate the task bar.
  • The reason for sporadic download times is that I'm snagging feeds in each section and page except for Paying Props.
  • If you decide to validate the HTML code for any of my pages and it's not valid then it's probably because the HTML returned from a feed is not valid. How much do you want to bet?
  • There is a good probability that there will be broken external links since I've been hording links for ages.
  • RSS aggregation is currently turned On
  • Hopefully, you know that stylesheets are cached. So if things aren't being displayed properly, please refresh.

Rands In Reponse disclaimer is thousand times better than my disclaimer. So the following also applies to dragonCrew.com!!!

The opinions expressed on this website are entirely my own. They do not represent the strategy/plans/thoughts of my employer, my friends, my cat, or that kid who always got picked last for sports and who, right now, has a larger net worth than his entire high school.

In many of my management articles, I often refer to specific people as a means of telling the story... making a point. These people do not exist -- they are fabrications that are specifically constructed to make a point. There are traits or quirks of former co-workers and friends that I borrow to construct my story persona, but these small slices of personality do not a person make.

OS and Browser Support

If you're using WAP based browsers then you're in for some pain. I haven't created a mobile stylesheet. I'll get to it eventually! Eventually, meaning once I get WAP actiavted. I need something to test with.

IA, Design and Usability

Degrading Gracefully

I've tried my best to properly degrade DOM and Javascript features. Send me an email if you find something.

Unobtrusive Javascript

All features will continue to work if you've disabled Javascript through your browser or by using any of the various Firefox extensions. Note that, continue to work, means that Javscript based features will not cause bowser errors. However, the features will not work as designed!!!

Known Issues

I know what they are but I'm not telling. It's more fun if you email them to me. Here's a hint, there are three for sure for sure. OK, I'll give you the easy one. I'm using multiple selectors which is a CSS standard but not supported in IE6. Also using Mozilla's CSS extension -moz-border-radius for some rounded corners because I'm tired of waiting for CSS3!

What do you mean, I've got too many links? It's my portal and I have many interest and just like hording. Do you see people complaining to Molly about her payout and links?

The site is liquid. The result is that the larger the screen size, the longer the sentences get. Therefore, the more characters per line which could become a readability problem according the what should be the Human Factor's UI Design Newsletter – November, 2002, Optimal Line Length. Boxes and Arrows is recognized as a mecca for information architecture, information design, interaction design and interface design doesn't seem to agree with this guideline!

Accessibility

WAI and Section 508 Rules

Not all of the pages pass WAI or Section 508 accessibility test. It's on my todo list! I may at some point add Inaccessible for testing purposes. Once all of the pages have passed, then I'll add Section 508.

Colors

I've tried to choose colors for accessibility. If you are a bit color blind, please email what colors you're having problems reading.
