Meaning of Music |
Feelings Nothing More than Feelings!!!
The music of these artist have brought out my inner and outer emotional self:
- Love
- Anger
- Guilt
- Serenity
- Creativity
- Melancholy
- Sympathy and Apathy
- Reflection
Rap is the purest form of music today, IMHO. Rappers express what is happening in their world, expressing it in their own language. Story telling of the 21st century.
It's what blues and jazz use to be, honest and from the heart. It's sometimes in your face. Sure there's swearing but that's the real world.

Be Open Minded
Step back a second and take a more philosophical outlook.
Here's an oppressed and segregated inner-city group (projects) that created a "culture" from nothing.
Look at the economic impact of hip-hop on industries such as clothing, jewelry, record, movies, stereo equipment and cars.
Now the younger inner-city kids have heroes that they can identify with.
Mixes are used because let's face it how many kids from projects can afford instructments. The original artist are being paid their royalities, record companies get a new lease on life.
Try listening to various artists and forms of rap before you pass judgement.
If you have teenagers, tell me how are they dressed and who are they listening to?
2 Pac has probably written more songs about his love for his mom than any songwriter EVER.
Besides, isn't open mindedness part of your corporate culture???
There are those of you out there that lived the punk culture
where most of the bands couldn't even play an instrument let alone sing.
Singer's singing consisted of nothing more than screaming at the top of their lungs.
Step outside of yourself and listen to something different. It will probably be a challenge but you'll never know what you'll find.
Snoop's Shizzolator will translate the existing content of any site to be "Gizoogle".
